50 Hz and 60 Hz emergency fleets
Global programmes often mix regions. USP&E’s inventory and EPC practice cover both 50 Hz and 60 Hz emergency diesels, with voltage classes matched to existing islands. Do not assume a “global standard” canopy will drop onto your switchgear without engineering — paralleling, protection, and ATS behaviour are site-specific.
When continuous modular turbines join later, FX-45 is likewise configurable for 50 Hz or 60 Hz (slots from 2028). Keeping Hz strategy coherent across standby diesel and future turbine blocks avoids expensive mid-life conversions.
